I’m Oday Maleh. I run Saltserv from Amsterdam, where I build apps for the platforms I actually use — iOS, Android, and macOS.

Currently shipping:

Cura — an SSH client and Linux server monitor for iOS and Android. Real-time stats, a full terminal, Docker management, runbooks, and alerts.
Murmur — an iPhone voice-capture app. Tap, talk, and on-device transcription plus an on-device LLM turn the ramble into a clean note. Nothing leaves the phone.
Islamic baby names: Ismi — an Islamic and Arabic baby-name app for Android. Swipe through 1,836 curated names with Arabic script, transliteration, meaning, and a cited source. Fully offline. (iOS coming.)
Marjai — an offline Arabic reader for Shia fiqh rulings: the verbatim books of Sayyid Sistani and Sayyid Fadlallah, with smart Arabic search. iOS and Android.
Booksum — an Android book scanner with on-device OCR, AI summaries, and spaced-repetition flashcards.
Textrix — an iOS text utility that rephrases passages in 30 languages, summarises long text, and extracts text from PDFs.
ADB Remote — a native macOS GUI for ADB, logcat, and Gradle, for Android developers who don’t want to launch a full IDE for small tasks.
