Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 24, 2026
This is the privacy policy for Saltserv apps.
The Short Version
I don’t collect your data. Your stuff stays on your device. I don’t sell anything to anyone.
What I Don’t Collect
- Personal info (name, email, address) — unless you email me
- Location data
- Contacts
- Photos or files
- Browsing history
- Anything, really
What Might Get Collected
Crash reports: If an app crashes, Apple may send me anonymized crash logs. These help me fix bugs but don’t identify you.
Support emails: If you email me, I have your email and whatever you wrote. I use this to reply to you.
Per-App Details
ADB Remote
- Collects nothing
- Talks to your Android device over USB/Wi-Fi only
- Settings stored locally on your Mac
- May check for updates (no personal data sent)
GotIt
- Location is used on-device to detect when you leave a place
- Location data stays on your phone
- Nothing is sent to any server
Booksum
- Your scans and notes stay on your device
- iCloud sync (if enabled) goes through your Apple account, not me
Third Parties
I don’t use ad networks or tracking services.
The apps are distributed through Apple’s App Store, which has its own privacy policy.
Your Data
Since I don’t collect data, there’s not much to manage. But if you’ve emailed me and want that deleted, just ask.
